Mega Man Battle Network (Part VIII)
For defeating Skull Man, you get the /Miyu. Also you can jack into her mirror to get the @Miyu and a Barrier S chip.
What you want to do now is head to the northern block of Dentwon. Cross to the northwest part of the street and you should get a scene.
Actually, it's more like "An terrorism" but I guess they don't know that yet. Apocalyptic scenario goooo.
(By the way it happens again. This is the only instance I remember where it's implied people actually die.)
You receive an e-mail from the WWW saying that they have a repair program for this "malfunction" on sale in Dentown central for one million Zennys. And several adults, not the least bit suspicious, run off to buy them.
THIS GAME CONTAINS BOTH HACKER AND NURSE ELVES.
Okay. Inappropriately intense excitement over.
So eventually, you will reach a little split in the path. Go down and touch it, but duck onto the path on the right. From here pass through it again, going down to get the Bubbler K. Pass through to the right again go up for a red track on the right that leads down and dips back left to give access to 800 zennys. Take the path right back to the entry point. Flip the switch and jack out.
Sorry, Lan. It's hard when you have to write down all your steps, you know.
Go two screens east now and jack into the stoplight here.
In this area, head down the shot path and then turn south to pass through an elf and switch the path to red. Head left after this and get a Heater O chip. Head back, ignoring the red ramp to the right. That path will get you nowhere in life. Instead head to the north and pass through the two elves here, utilizing the nifty looping pathway to get back on the south with the blue pathways lit up this time. Go down the ramp at the end.
Head along the blue and grey pathways and eventually you will encounter a little T-shaped section. Simply go left to end up on the red path side, then turn around and pass through again to get to the blue side. Collect the 500 zennys and loop around, passing through another elf and reaching a red pathway. (The other red pathway led here as well.)
Oh dear. Pass through the rightmost elf you come to, and go up the blue ramp. Take the next ramp down, passing through an elf to make it red, and then up the second red ramp you come to. Pass through the elf to the right to pick up a FireTower T, then back left and down the second red ramp.
Flip the switch and you will jack out automatically.
Head back west and then go south to find our next set of lights to jack into. Traverse this blue pathway a short distance, following it along the small loop and passing through the elf from the south side. Go up across a red pathway, and an even smaller loop will bring you to a piece of data holding 1000 zennys. Pass through the elf and keep going to the east.
At the top of the ramp, you will find a small loop - pass south through the switch, then head back up north and go east. Ignore the first red ramp, it takes you nowhere. The second one however leads to an HPmemory, so pick that up. Go back up and pass through the cyver elf further down and go down the ramp behind it.
The only way to go here is east through an elf, and you will end up in a big confusing looking area. What we're going to do is head to the northwest corner of the area, then go down and pass through both elves to the east. Simply go left from here passing through two more switches, and go south back to the beginning. Flip the switch for another scene.
Sidenote: I'm not sure that electrocuting a bus rigged with a bomb is the best way to slow it down. Head to the next screen north and you will enter the computer automatically.
Okay, our next (and I do believe last) area has us starting out going down. Do a simple loop here and go left along the blue path. You'll be forced through an elf here, but continue along this lower left path to an AquaTower C chip. Head along the red path to the north to get... back to the beginning already? Hmm.
Nope! Just kidding. The switch here only turns one of the lights red. Pass through the elf to the left.
When you come to it pass west through a second elf, then up and east through a third to get 2400 zennys. Head up and west through the switch, taking the only road north and then east from here, leading to another switch.
And he can count. Give the boy a prize.
Back as the good character, head north to a 4-way cross. Go left down a path and then through a switch and back along a blue track. Take the path all the to the end for the third switch.
Head east through one elf, then through the one to the southeast to get the Recover80 G. Turn around and go right back through. Take the next pathway up, then go south through another elf and left. Flip the last switch.
Oh. Oops.
Luckily, Roll has kept the bus from exploding for now. But she doesn't seem to be holding up too well against Color Man... *cough*lamename*cough*... so we'd better go lend a hand.
Myyyy goodness. The fanfictions that could be written about this screen capture.

More like killing people when they're alive.
Anyway, there will be some dialogue where Lan agrees with Mega Man to try to make himself look less stupid and then you get entered into the traffic light computer. Head down the linear pathway a bit.
Soon you'll come across these. I dunno what they are, technically. I'm just going to call them Cyber Elves, which is a Mega Man Zero thing if you are unfamiliar. So touch the cyber elves to change which color pathways will be operational. The path remains linear for quite a while. THIS GAME CONTAINS BOTH HACKER AND NURSE ELVES.

Head south now, and talk to the three civilians in the area, then have a bit of a chat with the nice terrorist lady. You then get a call from Mayl informing you that she has been somewhat hostage'd, which is too bad. Head west and jack into the set of lights in Block 4.
In this area, you come to a split in the path right away. Go south through the elf, then loop around the red path and pass through the same one as before, giving you access to a new blue area to the south. This path will also have a split - take the second path for 800 zennys. Go back and take the first path all the way left and pass south through another cyber elf. Go up the ramp you come to.
Now is when things could start to get a bit messy. First, continue straight along this upper level as far as you can without passing through any switches. When you are blocked off by a switch go left into a small loop with an Escape N chip. Finally we can make that trade! Go back and pass east through the switch, then go up, left, and up again through another. Follow the red path back to the entry and flip the switch, you are jacked out automatically.

Color Man
600 HP
Fire Tower: Creates a stream of fire that can move up or down. The red pin sends this out. (Move up or down and then forward to avoid)
Aqua Tower: Creates a stream of water that can move up or down. The blue pin sends this out. (Move up or down and then forward to avoid)
Ball Squash: Drops a big white ball on your area that bounces around. As long as the ball is in your area he is immobile.
ColorMan will always stay in the back row, while his pins will move up and down the other two blocking a lot of your moves. You'll want to use Shock/Sonic/Dyna waves, as well as Navi chips, spreaders, Quakes, etc. Anything that either has a passthrough effect or can be tossed into the back row.
When equipped correctly, this guy is easy peasy.
