Sustainable Pittsburgh will host a September 14 Sustainability: A Winning Playbook For Workplaces and the Region Workshop at the Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman Street, in Pittsburgh at 6:00 p.m.
Come to this event to gain insights on steps organizations are taking to integrate sustainable business practices to attract talent, save money, and create a better quality of life for the region.
Examples are provided through the achievements of the 91 employers who participated over the past 12 months in the Green Workplace Challenge. Their performance serves up concrete actions to advance sustainable policies and practices within their workplaces and making a positive difference for the community.
The featured speaker will be Bob Nutting, chairman of the Board and principal owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
