PEMA Announces Winners Of ReadyPA.org Severe Weather Student Video Contest
The PA Emergency Management Agency Friday posted the winning student videos in its ReadyPA.org Severe Weather Public Service Announcement Contest. The winners include--
-- First Place: Joseph of Northampton County-- Flooding Is The Most Dangerous Weather Event In The U.S.;
-- Second Place: Alyssa, Olivia, Madeline, Emily and Maya of Lancaster County -- Flooding Is Pennsylvania’s #1 Hazard (Photo);
-- Third Place: Tyson of Dauphin County -- Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
PEMA received entries from 60+ students in its Severe Weather Video Contest.
PEMA is still accepting entries until March 7 in its Severe Weather Poster Contest for students in Grades 1 to 6.
