Green Stormwater Infrastructure Partners Awards Program March 31 In Philadelphia
The Green Stormwater Infrastructure Partners will hold an awards program on March 31 at the WHYY Public Media Commons, 150 N. 6th St., Philadelphia starting at 6:00 p.m.
GSI Partners are bringing together the Philadelphia region’s GSI industry professionals, municipal employees, elected officials, and other GSI stakeholders for the Excellence in GSI Awards Ceremony.
Public Project Finalists for the awards program include: Lea Elementary School, Philadelphia School District; Penn Street Trail, Philadelphia; and Linwood Park, Ardmore.
Private Project Finalists include: Cira Green, Brandywine Realty Trust, Philadelphia; Bethesda Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia; Central Green At The Navy Yard, Philadelphia; and Stroud Water Research Center, Avondale (photo).
This event will celebrate GSI projects in the Greater Philadelphia Area, the triple bottom line (TBL) benefits of GSI, and the partners who make these projects happen.
The evening will open with a poster reception, where guests can view project posters of the finalists and mingle with other industry professionals while enjoying local food and drinks.
After the Awards Ceremony where winners will be announced, the evening will conclude with more local food and libations.

Green Stormwater Infrastructure Partners, is a signature program of the Philadelphia Sustainable Business Network, is a growing network of local businesses in the green stormwater infrastructure space, from engineers, landscape architects, and green roof companies, to contractors, maintenance firms, and material suppliers.
Through advocacy, relationship-building, and education, we are working to advance the local GSI industry and GSI innovation, thereby amplifying the triple bottom line impact of Philadelphia’s Green City, Clean Waters plan.
Its efforts are focused on facilitating and incentivizing GSI as much as possible and ensuring that as much of the public and private investments being catalyzed by the plan remain as local as possible.
