Fly Fishing Southern New Hampshire: Fishing Guide

If you are visiting the seacoast of New Hampshire, and would like to be guided on one of our local rivers (Lamprey or Cocheco), please continue reading.

E.I. Fly™4X

Be prepared to catch fish!

The E.I. Fly™4X service has been designed for students who have completed E.I. Fly™1X, 2X and 3X; or any advance angler desiring 1:1 guiding.  Our goal is to help you catch fish, but we can also teach you how to tight-line nymph with 10ft rods, or swing wet-flies with a switch rod. Bottom line, you will find yourself on technical water experiencing a variety of fly fishing techniques.  If you are an advance beginner or intermediate angler, by days end, you will be able to start fishing on your own.

The Lamprey and Cocheco rivers are heavily stocked with Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Brown Trout.  The rivers also hold native species such as Fall Fish, Sunfish, Perch, Suckers and Small Mouth Bass (non-native). Due to climate change, warm weather, etc., these rivers can be highly seasonal -- they change from cold water to warm water fisheries.  In other words, if you want to catch a trout let's focus on mid October till the end of May. If you are a beginner or intermediate angler and don't care what specie you catch, wet-wading in June-July-August can be lots of fun. During this time we catch lots of bass, sunfish, and chubs -- it's great practice for beginners, and highly recommended.
