Help Support The PA Trout In The Classroom Program
The PA Council of Trout Unlimited’s Trout in the Classroom Program is an interdisciplinary program that teaches students about coldwater conservation while raising brook trout from eggs to fingerlings in the classroom aquarium.
PATU provides a grant program to support the classroom needs, and helps to educate the next generation on coldwater conservation. Each program is unique as teachers tailor their programs to fit their individual needs.
The PATU grant program assists teachers in replacing outdated or non functioning equipment, books, field and sampling equipment, as well as funding field trips to engage students in coldwater conservation activities.
This grant program is fully funded through the support of individual contributions. You can help support this program by purchasing a PA TIC t-shirt or TIC raffle ticket Today!
Pennsylvania's statewide TIC program is made possible through a unique partnership between PA Council of Trout Unlimited and the Fish and Boat Commission.
