Fishing New England
Within hours from each other, you can fish for Striper's and Wild Brook Trout. |
Hundreds of years ago, the surrounding waters of New England, whether sweet or salt, were teeming with aquatic life. Just down the street from my home, we had prolific runs of anadromous species such as Atlantic Salmon, Atlantic Sturgeon, Shad, Herring, Salters -- Brook Trout, American Eel, and Striped Sea Bass. For over a millennium, it was a very WILD place -- the average NH Brook Trout weighed five pounds! When compared to current fishing conditions, it's almost unimaginable to comprehend what we once had. Times have changed, New England is not as wild as it once was, but in key areas, we still have the opportunity to fish for wild species. Fishing for wild species -- that's what our guided DIY programs are all about.
Guided DIY Fishing: The Right Fit

However, if the lodge/camp program is not your thing, or fishing entirely on your own is overwhelming and not productive, maybe our guided DIY programs are the right fit for you.
We welcome you to take a look at our guided DIY programs. These programs are designed to eliminate all the challenges associated with independent traveling and fishing. Specific to New England, here's what you can expect:
