200 Attend First Pittsburgh Wild And Scenic Film Festival
A crowd of 200 attended the first Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Pittsburgh on October 29 hosted by Allegheny Cleanways and the PA Resources Council.
It was a spectacular evening of award-winning films, amazing prizes, delicious refreshments, and local organizations and initiatives! The event was a huge success, and featured Emmy Award-winning producer, television host, and writer Doug Oster.
Festival-goers learned about global and local issues, ranging from litter, water quality, biodiversity, and environmental justice and were able to immediately connect with local organizations and initiatives who work on these issues and more.
A huge thank you to the sponsors, partners, volunteers, and to each and every participant who helped make the evening so successful. We were lucky to be joined by students, local environmental organizations, members of the Pittsburgh green community, and more!
