Prudential Spirit Of Community Awards For Middle, High School Students
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Program is now accepting nominations for middle and high school students in grades 5 to 12 to recognize community volunteer work, including on environmental projects. The deadline for nominations is November 3.
Applications can be submitted to a middle or high school principal, Girl Scout council, county 4-H agent, American Red Cross chapter, YMCA or HandsOn Network affiliate. Paper versions of the application form are available by calling (877) 525-8491.
These awards, sponsored by Prudential Financial, Inc. in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), honor outstanding community service by middle level and high school students at the local, state and national level.
Prizes include a cash award of $1,000 and a trip to Washington, D.C. for the awards program.
