FBI: Request for Public Help in Identifying Traitors
Jihad recruit at large |
With the rash of individuals traveling overseas to join terrorist organizations of the Islamic State, the FBI announced:
We need the public's assistance in identifying U.S. Persons going to fight overseas with terrorist groups or who are returning home from fighting overseas.
The FBI offers a form for submitting tips and lead regarding this phenomenon at:
The FBI is also seeking information about the identity of an English-speaking individual and others seen in a propaganda video released last month by the group calling itself the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL.
The policy presently is to imprison people guilty of this crime, which is treasonous. However, it would be best all round (and more economical) if our government would condemn those guilty of this treasonous act to stripping them of citizenship, revoke their passport and send them on a one-way ticket somewhere, never allowed to return to the US which they did not appreciate. Our prisons are already a nest for Islamic Jihad recruiters – why put these people in our prisons at taxpayer expense. Any American citizen who joins the Islamic State or other enemies of the free world are traitors and should be treated as so.
FBI Director, James Comey, stated in a 60-Minute interview:
These homegrown violent extremists are troubled souls who are seeking meaning in some misguided way. And so they come across the propaganda and they become radicalized on their own independent study, and they're also able to equip themselves with training again on the Internet, and then engage in jihad after emerging from their basement.
