Make Your Yard A Sustainable Landscape March 8 At PSU-Brandywine In Media
The Chester-Ridley-Crum Watersheds Association, Penn State University-Brandywine, and CRC’s municipal stormwater partnership will hold a lecture on March 8 at Penn State-Brandywine in Delaware County.
“Sustainable Landscape Management for Landowners” will be presented by Jennifer Nichols, President of GreenWeaver Landscapes LLC, at 2:00 p.m. in the campus’ Tomezsko Building auditorium, 25 Yearsley Mill Road, Media.
The program is free and open to the public but advance registration is recommended due to limited seating.
Jennifer Nichols has been involved in horticulture for over 20 years, including serving as President of GreenWeaver since 2008. She holds a Certificate of Merit in Ornamental Plants and a Certificate of Merit in Landscape Design from Longwood Gardens and is active in Continuing Education in ecology and landscape design.
Her talk will cover how soil and plant management affects water quality and best practices for designing and maintaining your landscape.
