DEP Proposes Changes To Guidelines For Beneficial Use Of Coal Ash At Coal Mines
The Department of Environmental Protection published notice of an opportunity to comment on a draft technical guidance related to the beneficial use of coal ash at coal mines. Comments are due January 13.
The changes clarifies implementation of new requirements in areas such as water monitoring, ash quality monitoring and certification of coal ash sources.
