Brownfield Seminars For Local Officials Sept. 26 In Lewistown, Oct. 23 In Wilkes-Barre
The departments of Environmental Protection and Community and Economic Development will hold two seminars this fall on brownfield redevelopment--
-- September 26 at the Career Link Building in the Mifflin County IDC Industrial Plaza in Lewistown; (register here) and
-- October 23 at DEP's Regional Office in Wilkes-Barre (register here).
Both seminars run from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and lunch is provided.
The free, half-day seminars will feature regional success stories, an overview of the basics of brownfields, details on available public funding and how to apply for it. In addition, DEP and DCED representatives will be on hand to answer questions.
Representatives of local governments, municipalities and economic development and planning agencies are encouraged to attend.
