House Environmental Committee Meets On Carbon Emissions Bill, Hearing On Biosolids
The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee has scheduled two meetings for next week.
On June 25 the Committee will meet to consider House Bill 2354 (Snyder-D-Fayette) requiring the approval of the General Assembly of any plan submitted by DEP to comply with EPA greenhouse emission reduction requirements- sponsor summary.
The meeting will be held in Room G-50 of the Irvis Building starting at 9:00.
On June 26 the Committee will hold a public hearing on House Resolution 426 (Miller-R-York) directing the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to do a study of the land application of sewage sludge- sponsor summary.
The hearing will be held in Room 205 of the Ryan Building starting at 9:00.
Rep. Ron Miller (R-York) serves as Majority Chair and Rep. Greg Vitali (D-Delaware) serves as Minority Chair.
