Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Welcomes New Board Members
Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Friday announced the addition of two new members to their Board of Directors-- John McGoran, Manager of Municipal Services with Republic Services and Mary Webber, Founder and Principal of Webber Associates.
“Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful is honored to welcome John McGoran and Mary Webber as new board members. Each brings a unique and diverse perspective and experience from their work in the waste industry field. Their guidance and leadership will enhance our efforts across the state,” states Jim Bonner, Board of Directors Chair for Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful. “I know that their service will provide tremendous benefits to the board and organization as a whole.”
The members bring a wide range of experience to the board.
John McGoran has been an integral member of Solid Waste Boards in Western Pennsylvania to assist in the development of County Plans required by PA law to project and secure future disposal capacity for municipal waste generated in each county. John also works directly with the PA Department of Environmental Protection to develop and present changes to current waste hauling and disposal regulations.
Mary Webber is the founder of a government relations consulting firm providing lobbying and related services to state associations, nonprofits, and corporations and has led strategic planning and positioning of the Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association. She has served on the boards of a wide range of nonprofits including, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, Tres Bonne Annee, and Harristown Development Corporation.
