The store is a little small almost congested feel, but the selection of tackles & fishing gear is good. They cater more to sports as well as coarse freshwater fishing. The operator is friendly and is willing to give good discounts on selected promotional items. Finding this place could be a problem for some but die-hard anglers should have no problem locating it. By operating the store at a lower renting location, they save on operating cost which translates to more competitive pricing.

I wouldn't recommend going all the way there unless you are desperate to get something that only Sea Tackle sell & is not available at any other dealers. Being a distributor, they are not in favor of underselling so their pricing is not competitive. Selection wise, they are almost complete being more in tune with saltwater fishing, though some items are really outdated.

Recently renovated with more retail space. This is a very complete store having products catering to every form of fishing, including live baits. Pricing is very competitive & the selection of goods is excellent. You can find the latest brands & models here. Mostly managed by family members & the store assistants are foreign workers. You can buy tackles here at cheap prices but don't expect them to give you ideas on what to buy & how to use them. The operators themselves are not anglers.

Situated at a corner of Sri Muda township in Shah Alam, this store area has ample parking space & large retail space making shopping here comfortable. Their selection is very complete catering to both saltwater & freshwater anglers of every form. They can also do customized rod & repairs too. Pricing is fair but what I like about this store are the operators themselves are experienced anglers too. They can offer you advice on what to buy & how to use it.
Red Hot Angler

This is a specialist tackle store. They only cater to sports anglers, specifically, lure casting enthusiast. More of a concept store, they have a good selection of premium products imported from japan & US. Pricing is slightly above market value but what they sell isn't easily found at other competing stores. The operator is a highly experienced lure caster as well as a qualified fisheries biologist. If you need to know how to catch a certain fish by way of rod & reel casting, this is the right place to shop & seek advice.
Kepong Tackle

This is the largest tackle shop in Malaysia. Occupying 3 shop lots & having enough space to display fishing products from A to Z. Location wise, parking is an issue as the shop is located along the main Kepong road. Best to park further away & walk a little. Pricing is fixed here but is competitive. The store assistants are mostly foreign workers & the store owners are seldom around to assist in purchasing decision.
FISHER TACKLE
Seksyen 15, Shah Alam, Selangor
The shop started operations sometime in 2013 with tackles selections catering to both fresh and saltwater anglers, ranging from baitfishing enthusiast to casters with a good selection of lures and soft plastic baits to choose from. The owner, Ah Seng is attentive and always ready to offer advice and recommendation when you ask him but be patience as the place is always crowded. Price is reasonable. The shop is located near the Petronas/KFC outlet in Seksyen 15 with ample parking space.

A more classic form of tackle store still retaining an old charm feel to it. They have a good selection of goods, albeit outdated for both fresh & saltwater anglers but the store keeper themselves are no anglers. Pricing of products on display is not too competitive but they would give good discounts if you are sincere to purchase.
Jin Fatt Aquarium

This is both an aquarium & a tackle store. The store keeper himself is an experienced saltwater angler & also a rod builder. He also does customized tackles, namely, heavy duty clips, making this shop quite unique. Selection is only mediocre carrying most popular brands & mid-range products more catered to coarse anglers. They sell live baits too. Price is fair but the operators do give out some discounts to loyal customers.
