CFA OKs Funding High Performance Building Project In Montgomery County
The Commonwealth Financing Authority Monday approved $245,835 for a high performance building project in Montgomery County.
Be Amazing, LLC will receive a $245,835 grant to assist with the construction of a high performance Goddard School in Plymouth Meeting.
The early childhood education facility will achieve LEED gold certification through the U.S. Green Building Council, featuring triple pane windows and doors, full sub-slab insulation, a roof insulation system to meet Passive House standards, daylight harvesting, and a high-efficiency VRF heat pump system with heat recovery.
The project is expected to reduce energy consumption by an estimated 732 MBtu annually, and has a total estimated cost of $3,902,681.
